Trip Outline Itinerary
ARRIVAL DAY - PRE ADVENTURE
Arrive in Santiago de Chile by October 17 (or earlier) before the group continues south the next day toward Patagonia. A flight from Arturo Merino Benítez Airport brings you to the edge of the wild, where your guide welcomes you for the scenic transfer to Puerto Natales in the Última Esperanza region.
Set along the Señoret Channel and gateway to Torres del Paine, Puerto Natales blends frontier history with modern adventure energy. The evening unfolds with a welcome dinner and briefing before the journey into the mountains begins.
Day 1 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 2 HIGHLIGHTS
After breakfast, set out from Puerto Natales toward the wild heart of Torres del Paine National Park, where a full day unfolds across its most striking viewpoints and landscapes. A quiet pause in the Pingo sector offers time to breathe it all in before arriving at the Las Torres area, where the mountains begin to feel wonderfully close.
Day 3 HIGHLIGHTS
Day 4 HIGHLIGHTS
Set out deeper into Torres del Paine, following trails edged by clear streams and the vivid waters of Lake Nordenskjöld, with the snowy slopes of Almirante Nieto rising above. Keep an eye out for condors overhead as you make your way toward Los Cuernos or Francés, where the day winds down in the heart of the park.
Day 5 HIGHLIGHTS
Start early into the wild heart of Valle del Francés, where the trail threads through forest and stone toward a natural amphitheater beneath Paine Grande and the jagged Los Cuernos. From the plateau, turquoise lagoons, hanging glaciers, and the distant rumble of ice set the scene before an easy walk carries you onward to Paine Grande by evening.
Day 6 HIGHLIGHTS
Set out toward Grey Lake through a winding valley, with first glimpses of the Southern Ice Field and drifting icebergs hinting at what’s ahead. From the Grey Glacier lookout, the vast blue wall of ice fills the horizon—while the optional hanging bridges beyond reveal dramatic views over the ravines of the Olguín Range and the glacier’s full, thunderous presence.
Day 7 HIGHLIGHTS
Enjoy a final wander near Grey Glacier if you wish, then follow the familiar trail back to Paine Grande with wide views over Grey Lake and the peaks of Torres del Paine. A scenic catamaran ride to Pudeto and an evening bus carry you gently back to Puerto Natales, closing the adventure with one last sweep of Patagonian wilderness.
