WHY THIS TRIP

Gallery

Trade the savannahs of Tanzania for the emerald rainforests of Rwanda and Uganda, where the experience shifts from wide horizons to intimate wildlife encounters beneath ancient canopies. Track chimpanzees in Nyungwe Forest, drift across the still waters of Lake Kivu, and trek into the legendary Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for a humbling face-to-face moment with mountain gorillas, before closing the journey with culture and reflection in Kigali.

This is a deeply immersive, guide-led adventure through some of Africa’s most biodiverse and meaningful landscapes, where every step feels personal and unforgettable. Please note: government permits required for this journey are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable.

Why This Adventure Feels Different

Some wildlife encounters stay with you long after the trip ends.

Gorilla trekking in Rwanda and Uganda offers one of those rare moments. You hike through rainforest and bamboo forest guided by expert trackers. The trail winds through misty hills and quiet valleys.

Then the forest opens.

A gorilla family appears. A silverback watches calmly. Young gorillas play nearby.

For one hour you sit quietly in their world.

This journey moves between the mountain landscapes of Volcanoes National Park and the dense forests of Bwindi. Both protect some of the last remaining mountain gorillas on Earth.

Many travelers expect a wildlife safari.

They leave with something deeper. A powerful reminder of how connected humans remain to the natural world.
